Cheat or Repeat is a stealth-based exam survival game where you secretly search for answers on your phone while avoiding strict teachers and rising tension.
Overview
Cheat or Repeat transforms a familiar situation—taking a school exam—into a high-pressure stealth experience. You play as a student at Redstone Middle School who didn’t prepare, now facing a harsh choice: cheat smart or fail.
However, cheating is far from easy. The classroom is a tightly controlled environment with constant surveillance. Teachers patrol unpredictably, time is limited, and every move you make can expose you. One wrong move can end your run instantly. As the days progress, the pressure builds with stricter monitoring, faster reactions, and increasingly unpredictable behavior from teachers.
Survive the Exam Without Getting Caught
Your goal is simple: finish the exam before time runs out. The real challenge is deciding when it’s safe to act.
At any moment, you are managing three priorities:
- Stay focused on your test paper to avoid suspicion
- Keep track of the teacher’s position
- Use your phone at the right time to search for answers
Each question follows a risky process. You briefly access your phone, complete a short input sequence, then quickly return to your paper before drawing attention. The longer you stay on your phone, the higher the chance of being caught.
As the game progresses, this balance becomes harder to maintain:
- Teachers move faster and behave less predictably
- Searching for answers takes longer, increasing exposure
- Safe opportunities become shorter and rarer
The pressure builds naturally. You’ll often be forced to make quick decisions—continue searching or stop midway to stay safe. In later stages, hesitation or panic can cost you the entire run.
Escalation Across Exam Days
The game is structured into multiple exam days, each raising the level of tension:
- Day 1: A manageable introduction with clear movement patterns
- Day 2–3: Faster pacing and reduced safe windows
- Final Day: Constant pressure with almost no room for mistakes
New challenges appear as difficulty increases:
- Teachers may suddenly appear in your blind spots
- Opportunities to use your phone become extremely limited
- You may need to guess answers instead of risking detection
This progression ensures the experience stays intense, forcing you to rely more on timing, awareness, and composure rather than repetition.
